The current health crisis has generated fast growth and actual change in all domains and the COVID-19 pandemic reminded us the world is very much connected and what happens to one, happens to all.
ExO World Summit
Paul Romer said, “A crisis is a terrible thing to waste” and, since social distancing became a must at a global level, all conferences, meetings and events moved to online. Such a conference was ExO World Summit – a three-day marathon organized by OpenExO Global Transformation Ecosystem and their Exo partners – Singularity University, X Prize Foundation, Abundance360, Vortex, HighVibe, Rokk3r, Fastrack Institute and others. During this period, we were able to interact and watch live talks with speakers, such as Peter Diamandis, Salim Ismail, Jason Silva, Dr. Daniel Kraft, Andres Roemer, etc.
This conference brought together over 4 000 attendees to discuss, contribute and generate solutions and change, for a better future. The event featured an entirely virtual main stage, expo booths, networking zone, individual session/panel rooms, digital entertainment, celebrity contributions, heads of state, and generated as much innovation as it could in the days leading up to, during and following the event.
The summit focused on the following subjects, spread over three days.

All the talks had the idea of exponential transformation and growth at their core. With this thing in mind, there were three major issues, linked to exponential growth, that were assessed during the 72 hours of interventions and networking:

- • Climate Change
H.appy in the ExoWorld
H.appyCities gladly took part in this event and contributed to the second theme – Technological change. Our aim was to reach as many opinion leaders as possible, learn from the Exo community and build future partnerships with entrepreneurs, scientists and other Exo partners, to create better and happier cities worldwide.
The COVID-19 pandemic showed us that people, cities and countries are still not prepared for this type of situation. So, we took this opportunity to create, share, evaluate and innovate toolsets and ideas for positive transformation that can be implemented at a personal, company or institutional level.
As you may think, our mission was not just an exploratory one. We wanted to have a real feel of what it means to be a part of the Exo community. And, because we liked it so much, we are excited and pleased to inform you that H.appycities became part of the ExoWorld and through the new partnerships, we’ll grow as ExoCities, a new dedicated entity to exponential solutions for cities.
ExoCities
ExoCities is the global transformation ecosystem of collaborative innovation for a meaningful life in cities. We build digital platforms and mobile applications that empower citizens, communities, and local authorities to think, communicate and act collectively for the benefit of the citizens.
Our motto is Helping Cities Run A Better World and speaks for itself. We use the City Exponential Transformation approach to support mayors in the management of the cities, while actively engaging the citizens and businesses.
Our mission is to:

We are, therefore, on a mission to weave the inter-human network, to use technology to accelerate this process and to generate exponential growth. The end goal of this mission is to produce a new mechanism of creating solutions for the cities in a collaborative manner. The concept is simple – SuperCitizens for Super Cities.
